Providing a boost to the local economy

Harworth Group is excited to bring forward plans for a new 107-acre employment site in Rothwell to help meet local demand for skilled industrial and logistics jobs.

The site, located at Rothwell, is situated at Junction 3 of the A14. In addition to providing new jobs, we are also planning to deliver a brand new roundabout, enhanced sustainable travel opportunities, and a net gain in biodiversity.

Following a consultation exercise with the community that saw us receive feedback from over 700 local residents, we have now submitted an outline planning application to North Northamptonshire Council.

How the plans will move forward

We are in the early stages of bringing these plans forward. Below we have included an anticipated timeline of activity.

  1. September/October 2024

    Consultation with the community to understand local priorities and seek feedback on the proposals.

  2. November 2024

    Submission of a planning application to North Northamptonshire Council.

  3. Winter 2025

    Anticipated determination of the planning application by North Northamptonshire Council.
    Subject to the approval of our planning application

  4. 2026

    Future reserved matters planning application, setting out matters including design and final layout.

  5. Early 2027

    Potential commencement of site build-out.
